OIL PAINTINGS: Process and prices
1. CONSULTATION
Get in touch! Everyone has different ideas about how they'd like their portrait to feel; we'll chat about what you like about my work and what I can do for you.
2. PAYMENT
PRICES start at £1650 for 60 x 90 cm deep edge canvas oil painting. Variations depend on discussions around your budget, the size you'd like, and your location.
Once we've agreed to proceed, and settled details, I'll send you either an invoice or a link to pay, with a contract outlining terms of sale. As a bespoke service, please note that all sales are final.
3. PHOTOGRAPHY
I work from reference photos, so the next step is for us to organise a one hour, in person visit to your home or a location of your choice, for me to take a series of photos of you or the subject (if different). These needn't be strictly posed - a lot can be yielded from a natural, multi-shot session, and we'll decide together which will work best for the painting.
4. THE PAINTING
I will return to my studio and get painting. It will take up to two months to complete, and I'm always contactable throughout.
5. DELIVERY
When the painting is ready, I'll send you a photo of it and prepare it for courier, notifying you when it has been sent. You'll then have it within the week!

DRAWINGS: Process and prices
1. FIND A PHOTO
I work from reference photos, so the first step is finding a photo you'd like to see brought to life as a drawing. The better quality the photo, the better your drawing will be. This means the subject is well focused and lit, and the resolution is as high as possible. Please note, I am currently only accepting commissions for single face drawings, that is, a drawing of one person. If you're unsure if your photo is suitable, just get in touch and I'll let you know.
2. CONTACT ME
Next, contact me here, and I will get back to you via email (usually that same day) and we'll chat about style, size and colour - all drawings can be your choice of colour scheme, or black and white drawn with graphite pencil.
3. PAYMENT
I'll then email you a link to pay, and get to work on your drawing. A week later I'll send you a photo of the finished piece and you'll be able to request edits if something doesn't feel right.
PRICES:
Large - A2 : £430
Big - A3 : £360
Medium - A4 : £310
Small - A5 : £260
NB: all portraits are sent unframed.
4. DELIVERY
Once you're happy with the drawing, I'll get it in the post! I'll let you know when it's sent and give you the tracking number. This whole process should take no more than 10 days, depending on swiftness of email correspondence (I always aim for same-day responses). See below for postage and packaging information.

POSTAGE & PACKAGING: £10
All portraits are sent unframed, flat by Royal Mail tracked delivery, packaged safely in recycled / reused / biodegradable materials to prevent damage to both your drawing and the environment. Some trace of previous uses may be visible on the packaging, and I encourage you to reuse and/or recycle the materials in turn.
