I drew this from a photograph by Stefan Ruiz, which inspired me to lean into the clean contrast and clarity of this bright composition. There is an open vulnerability and honesty to Sir Ian's face that lends itself to expression through my humble and trusty medium of pencil on paper. He’s a man moving forward with the times and bringing his classic style and iconic work with him. Surely National Treasure No. 1.
